Angus Chan


Angus is an Associate with CohnReznick Capital and is based in the New York office. He focuses on financial structuring and modeling, project due diligence, and transaction management for solar and wind project finance and M&A transactions.

Before joining CohnReznick Capital, Angus was an Assistant Vice President at Blackstone, where he supported the finance and operations function for Blackstone’s credit investment platform. Before Blackstone, he was a Fund Accountant at Credit Suisse’s mezzanine debt fund group. He started his career with Deloitte focusing on corporate valuation and led audit engagements for private equity and hedge fund clients.

Besides his experience in finance, Angus was also an Adjunct Professor at Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business. He taught advanced accounting course covering topics in corporate consolidation, partnership accounting, and foreign currency hedging.

Angus is a CFA charterholder as well as a Certified Public Accountant. He holds Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance and Master’s degree in Accounting from Georgia State University and graduated summa cum laude. He is currently pursuing his MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.

In addition to his native language, Cantonese, Angus is fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin), and beginner in Japanese.
