Goksenin is an Associate with CohnReznick Capital and is based in the San Francisco office. He focuses on financial structuring and modeling, project due diligence, and transaction management for solar and wind project finance and M&A transactions.
Before joining CohnReznick Capital, Goksenin was a consultant for SunEdison, where he helped build an Excel-based toolkit to accelerate the firm’s energy storage and electric vehicle charging infrastructure initiatives. Prior to SunEdison, Goksenin worked as a Teaching Assistant for two graduate level energy and economics courses at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs. Before Columbia, he worked as a consultant and translator in Belgium and China.
Goksenin is a fellow at prominent industry non-profits such as Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) and Clean Energy Leadership Institute (CELI). Goksenin also serves as a Vice President and board member at Young Professionals in Energy (YPE) Bay Area, the largest chapter of a global non-profit that aims to connect and foster the emerging leaders in the energy space.
Goksenin holds a Master’s Degree in Global Energy Policy and Finance from Columbia University in New York. He graduated from Okan University in Istanbul as Class President and Valedictorian with a dual Bachelor’s in Chinese Studies and International Affairs.
In addition to his native Turkish, Goksenin is fluent in English and Chinese, conversational in Russian, and beginner in Spanish.
