Iany Ianachkova


Iany is a Director with CohnReznick Capital and is based in the New York office. Since joining the Firm in 2011, she has worked on 2,700 MW of solar & wind tax equity and debt transactions, as well as raised $1B in corporate capital. Iany’s focus has primarily been on valuation, due diligence, process management, structuring and financial analysis. She is experienced in all major tax equity structures including target-yield and calendar-dated partnership flips, inverted leases, and sale leasebacks for PTC and ITC deals.

Iany has represented a number of clients in asset sales as well as platform acquisitions. In 2016, Iany headed the auction process for a 630MW portfolio of merchant wind assets. In 2014, Iany ran a major auction process for the sale of a 1.2GW wind portfolio for JP Morgan – the first successful sale of the cash interests for a leading tax equity investor. She also facilitated the closing of a four-investor tax equity consortium, placing tax equity on a 300MW wind project on behalf of a US-based hedge fund.

Prior to CRC, Iany was part of the global value portfolio management team at AllianceBernstein. She also completed short-term assignments with SunEdison and the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg.

Iany earned an MBA and Masters of International Affairs dual degree from Columbia Business School and Columbia School of International and Public Affairs, respectively. She received a B.S. in Foreign Service, magna cum laude, from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.
