Manish is a Director with CohnReznick Capital and is based in the New York office. Manish primarily focuses on M&A buy-side advisory and raising, structuring, and negotiating tax equity and debt investments. He has a core focus on utility-scale wind and solar projects. Manish has also advised on capital-raising for residential-solar portfolios. Manish has served as financial advisor or investor on more than 25 structured equity and lease transaction closings of over $6 billion in capital in the renewable energy industry, with projects ranging in size from 7MW to 650MW.
Manish is a leading advisor in partnership and lease modeling. His key strength is working through complex tax and structuring aspects of transactions. Manish has transacted on over a dozen projects with energy contract agreements that are financial hedges or swaps.
Manish has twelve years of investment banking experience. He was previously with Bank of America Merrill Lynch as a Director in their Renewable Energy Finance division. At Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Manish structured and led the quantitative analysis on over $1.5 billion in tax equity and debt principal investments. Manish also previously worked at Citigroup in their Renewable Energy Finance division in an advisory and principal investment role where he transacted on the largest sale-leaseback of wind assets in the United States.
Before he began a career in banking, Manish served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy. Manish has an MBA from the University of North Carolina and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University.
