Michael is a Vice President with CohnReznick Capital and is based in the New York office. He provides advisory and transaction management services for clients in the sustainable energy sector, including corporate M&A, capital raises, tax equity and debt financing solutions for wind, solar and energy efficiency projects.
Michael was previously an Associate on the Asset & Capital Structuring team at Banco Santander focusing on cash and tax equity principal investments in the renewable energy sector, and financing of long lived assets such as aircraft and vessels. Michael was involved in all aspects of the deal life cycle including the origination, structuring, diligence, negotiation and execution of investments. Michael started his career at Deutsche Bank as a Project Finance analyst focused on energy and infrastructure. In total, Michael has worked on more than 2,500MW of utility-scale and C&I wind and solar projects, including tax equity, cash equity, and sale lease-back transactions.
Michael is a CFA Charterholder. He graduated from Brandeis University with a double major in Economics and Business, and is fluent in Russian.
