Richard O’Day is a Senior Managing Director in CohnReznick Capital’s New York office, focused on advisory, M&A and capital raising in the renewable sector including solar, battery storage, wind, and fuel cell transactions.
A renowned industry banker, Richard has 30 years of experience in the renewable energy, power, and infrastructure sectors. He has originated and executed $10 billion in financings over 30 renewable energy transactions and led several initial public offerings and debt securitizations. His significant structured finance expertise was honed during his tenure at Credit Suisse where, as Managing Director and Head of the Structured Solutions Group, he was instrumental in developing the firm’s renewable energy tax-equity structuring business. Richard had senior predecessor roles in Citigroup’s Real Estate Investment Banking team and Credit Suisse First Boston’s Structured Product Group.
Richard earned a B.S. in Business Administration from St. Michael’s College, Vermont.
