Ryland is an Associate with CohnReznick Capital and is based in the San Francisco office. He focuses on financial structuring and modeling, due diligence, and transaction management for wind and solar project finance and M&A transactions.
Before joining CohnReznick Capital, Ryland attended graduate school at Yale where he was a lead Teaching Fellow for Renewable Energy Project Finance, Energy Club leader, and Research Assistant at the Center for Business and the Environment at Yale. He spent his first summer at Apex Clean Energy working on wind project finance and due diligence, and his second at CohnReznick Capital working on financial structuring and modeling for wind and solar projects. Prior to returning to school, Ryland worked on inventory efficiency at Grid Alternatives, a solar non-profit based in Oakland CA, and program management at Agrion, a Paris-based cleantech startup.
Ryland earned an MBA from the Yale School of Management and a Master of Environmental Management from the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies. He received a B.A. in Economics and Environmental Studies from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
